The order preparation according to NACE requirements has been simplified for spring-loaded and pilot-operated safety valves. The option codes have now a defined scope of delivery.
Simplified NACE documentation
In order to have a complete NACE documentation for an order, so far various option codes had to be selected. E.g. for spring-loaded safety valves the option code N78 was required for the NACE certificate and option code M79 for the execution of the hardness test. Consequently, the preparation of an inspection certificate was not carried out automatically.
The order preparation according to NACE requirements has now been simplified for spring-loaded and pilot-operated safety valves. The option codes have now a defined scope of delivery: They contain the inspection certificate NACE for the hardness test as well as the material certificates of the components concerned:

N78: Body, seat (nozzle) and disc for spring-loaded safety valves

R70: Body, seat and disc at the main valve as well as body and manifold block at the pilot valve of the POSV
With this innovation N78 is available for a defined selection of valve types:
Option code M79 does not apply anymore.
Further option codes may still be necessary for the valve configuration according to NACE. Please refer to the corresponding catalogs.
