American Packing Industries Phils. Corp.

A high pressure steam packing constructed of specially woven API asbestos cloth, impregnated with rubber (except on outside surface) wrapped around a core consisting or accordion-folded, rubber-impregnated asbestos cloth combined with a resilient rubber strip. The packing is treated externally with a modified glycerol lubricant and graphite.

Application includes safety and blow-off valves, steam pumps, and engines, compressors, steam hammers and logging equipment, expansion joints. Reciprocating and rotating.

Media Service includes mild acid and alkalies, air and dry industrial gases, petroleum, oil, steam, water and salt solutions.
